Those of you who called and asked why I was so negative in my last two posts have missed the point. My post was not doom and gloom (if you are a person who can adapt and change), but rather to lay out the facts as I see them. If you know the truth, then it is much easier to know how to serve others because you’ll have a good idea about what they need. Remember Zig Ziglar’s famous quote: “You can have anything in the world that you want if you’ll help enough other people get what they want.”

People are going to need money and feel a sense of independence. Most people do not trust the government enough to rely on them for much of anything. What I want to emphisize is the golden opportunity that is before us…right now. To summarize, here’s a few bullet points of fact. Then after that, what the current situation could mean for you as a person who has made a conscious choice not to take part in the economic crisis..

• Many people, especially Baby Boomers, are going to need to earn more money simply in order to preserve their desired lifestyle.
• Because of anticipated changes in our health insurance/delivery system, all people are going to needto be more prevention oriented with regards to their own and their family’s health.
• The Network Marketing Industry has historically offered many of the highest quality health supplements available anywhere. That fact is well known.
• Most Baby Boomers will not want to build a business. Oh, they may say they want to, but the 80/20 rule applies to this too. Provide easy access to quality products and you’ll gaina customer. Don’t neglect the retail side of your business. Your customers know lots of other people who may want the benefits of using your product. Get customers referrals in exchange for something of value for them. Some of those referrals might want to use their skill sets to build a business of their own… Hey, you never know.

We have a good opportunity to help others get what they want here. But most won’t want to take advantage. How can we know who we should be looking for in order to build our business?

Here’s some traits I think we should look for within the population. We want to find and recruit: 1) people who are not afraid of some risk; 2) people who have learned to prospect during the course of their primary occupation; and 3) people who are used to and enjoy being paid by production or commission. That’s it. Find those people, especially within the Baby Boomer population. Help them get what they want and need. Turn the rest into customers while keeping your eyes open for one or two who stumble upon the answer along the way. You’ll be glad you did.

How To Avoid The Flu

The following message given by him, I feel makes a lot of sense and is important for all to know

The only portals of entry are the nostrils and mouth/throat. In a global epidemic of this nature, it’s almost impossible to avoid coming into contact with H1N1 in spite of all precautions. Contact with H1N1 is not so much of a problem as proliferation is.

While you are still healthy and not showing any symptoms of H1N1 infection, in order to prevent proliferation, aggravation of symptoms and development of secondary infections, some very simple steps, not fully highlighted in most official communications, can be practiced (instead of focusing on how

to stock N95 or Tamiflu):

1. Frequent hand-washing (well highlighted in all official communications).

2. “Hands-off-the-face” approach. Resist all temptations to touch any part of face.

3. *Gargle twice a day with warm salt water (use Listerine if you don’t trust salt). *H1N1 takes 2-3 days after initial infection in the throat/nasal cavity to proliferate and show characteristic symptoms. Simple gargling prevents proliferation. In a way, gargling with salt water has the same effect on a healthy individual that Tamiflu has on an infected one. Don’t underestimate this simple, inexpensive and powerful preventative method.

4. Similar to 3 above, *clean your nostrils at least once every day with warm salt water. *Not everybody may be good at Jala Neti or Sutra Neti (very good Yoga asanas to clean nasal cavities), but *blowing the nose hard once a day and swabbing both nostrils with cotton buds dipped in warm salt water is

very effective in bringing down viral population.*

5. *Boost your natural immunity with foods that are rich in Vitamin C (Amla and other citrus fruits). *If you have to supplement with Vitamin C tablets, make sure that it also has Zinc to boost absorption.

6. *Drink as much of warm liquids (tea, coffee, etc) as you can. *Drinking warm liquids has the same effect as gargling, but in the reverse direction. They wash off proliferating viruses from the throat into the stomach where they cannot survive, proliferate or do any harm.

I suggest you pass this on to your entire e-list. You never know 20 who might pay attention to it – and STAY ALIVE because of it.
